Pojagi was the original Indian name for the art quilt made of a mixed media of natural fibres traditional to the country such as indian silkthreads, linens and cotton.
The name then grew into other areas of design where mixed medias are used.

  1. You are wrong, Dini. Pojagi has nothing in common with Indians, mixed media and art quilt at all. WIKIPEDIA: "A bojagi or bo for short (also pojagi or bojaki) is a traditional Korean wrapping cloth. [...] Bojagi flourished during the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1910), although their beginnings appear to be from the Three Kingdoms Period.[5] The earliest surviving example is from the twelfth century, and these early clothes were originally used in a Buddhist context, as tablecloths or coverings for sutras."
